The community gift shop is filled with treasures from Sarawak. Each item is carefully curated and holds a special tie with our land.

Our partners include:

Alit Production  – A mostly one-woman-show, Alit specialises in Ecoprint and Natural Dying techniques where she transfers the juices and patterns from leaves onto fabric, which are then transformed into shawls, cushion covers, and clutches, among others.

Borneo Organic – We carry a great array of their 100% organic soaps and balms. Each item was carefully researched and lovingly homemade in small batches.

Heart Treasures – What began as art therapy for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities has transformed into useful pocket books, bags, earrings, and various knick knacks. The proceeds from sales offer these individuals with monetary assistance, and as importantly, helps them to build dignity-for-life.

Superstudio Decor – Small batch handmade scented candles in their even smaller batch handmade concrete candle holders.

Tanoti – Tanoti has been pursuing heritage craft preservation, women empowerment and rural community building, our collection from Tanoti include handmade rattan craft from the remote interiors of Sarawak.

The Bario Journals – Lem Ayu’ Ulun, means ‘this is life’ This book is based on journals kept by writer, Liew Suet Fun, from 2013 till 2016 after she moved from the city to live in Bario, a settlement in the remote highlands of Borneo.
